Have You Connected With John on Facebook Yet?

More than 100,000 people have connected with Congressman Boehner on Facebook.

John started using Facebook to communicate with voters in 2007 when the use of social media sites by campaigns and lawmakers was still relatively new. Today John uses it to promote Republican solutions for creating jobs, highlight the broken promises and jobs-killing proposals of Speaker Pelosi and President Obama, and beat back misleading claims by Democrats and their liberal allies.

For example, John highlighted Democrats’ scheme “to ‘deem’ a non-existent budget as ‘passed’ so they can keep spending money we don’t have.”

He noted that recent jobs reports show “us we need to repeal ObamaCare & start over with the spending cuts economists say we need to create new jobs.”

And of the Gulf oil spill, he said we need to make “sure BP pays the full cost of the disaster” and that Democrats don’t exploit the crisis to impose “a national energy tax that will raise energy costs and destroy more American jobs.”

John’s even used it to promote opportunities for local volunteers to get involved.

As of this writing, the page boasts 102,568 fans. Are you one of them? If not, click here now.

But Facebook is only one part of Boehner’s direct media arsenal. John also makes use of tools like Twitter and YouTube to share his message of freedom and reform. And he’s been a leader in pushing Congress to make better use of new technologies to increase transparency and accountability.

John’s campaign is also using an innovative volunteer network – Boehner Campaigners – designed to bring all of Team Boehner’s online and offline grassroots activity under one roof. Click here to see more and to sign up!

  1. John Aldis says:

Why doesn’t Obama like his own citizens? He’s insulted doctors, police, Wall Streeters, Arizonans, bankers, Pennsylvanians, old folks, tea partiers everybody but unions and lawyers.
What kind of president picks a part of his own country (Las Vegas) and tells his other citizens not to go there? That’s like telling people not to buy cheese from Wisconsin or wine from California or cars from Detroit!
He thinks he’s president of some state called Illegal Alien, he doesn’t seem to know Arizona is in the Union and that he’s obligated to protect Arizonans.
The Balkinization of America, Californians boycotting Az for trying to protect themseves, how could American citizens do that to other citizens?
