Now Congressman Boehner is calling on the Administration to come clean about who knew what and when regarding the bonuses paid to AIG executives. The Capitol Hill newspaper Roll Call reports:

“‘We need to know what the administration knew and when did they know it?’ Boehner said. ‘Mr. [Edward] Liddy, who is running the AIG on behalf of the federal government, must have had conversations [with administration officials]. He’s known about this problem for some time. Who did he talk to in the administration?’”

CBS News has video of a recent press conference where Boehner pointed out that as recently as two weeks ago the Administration said “they were confident that they knew how every dime was being spent at AIG.” “But clearly,” Boehner says, “they didn’t know what they were talking about.”
